Les ruchers d'Ocquerre is above all a story of passion and exchange around the world of beekeeping. Eager to help the beekeeping industry move forward, we work with local elected officials and our farmers to preserve our fragile environment!
We produce locally, with our hives in the Pays de l'Ourcq. Our activity is concentrated around Lizy sur Ourcq, Ocquerre, Crouy sur Ourcq, May en Multien, Vendrest, Chaton, etc.
Our production is sustainable, and we only harvest surplus honey. We harvest with beehive hunters, a purely mechanical technique that causes no stress to the bees. We remove the honey supers at the end of July to allow the bees to build up sufficient winter resources, so as not to feed them.
We sell spring honey, acacia honey and summer honey (chestnut, phacelia and sunflower honey). This honey is available in 250g, 500g and 1kg formats at the honey house, with the possibility of tasting it, as well as in bulk with your own containers. It is also available from our partners at the Lizy sur Ourcq and Crecy La Chapelle intermarkets. But also at Blette comme chou, a farm store in Villeneuve sous dammartin.
