After walking through the Therouanne canal, Ourcq canal and Marne embankments, continue your discovery within the Grand-Voyeux bird sanctuary, where dozens of bird species live together.

Coderando 77 yellow itinerary

1) Pass in front of the city hall and head towards the center of town. Cross the junction and head straight towards the Ourcq canal.

2) Cross the canal, continue to the cemetery, and fork right to reach the banks of the Therouanne canal.

3) Take the towpath on the left. Once at the Gué-à-Tresmes castle, walk up via the small road on the left before following the street on the right for 500m.

4) Climb the path on the left, then skew to the left and go down in the undergrowth. Go along the Ourcq canal through the small balcony-shaped path to the right for 1,5km. Hurtle down the hill on the right (careful) to walk under the canal via the aquaduct. At the exit, go up left.

5) Follow the towpath to the right for 800m.

6) After some little houses on the bank, find a small path on the right, cross the D121 and head down towards the Marne. Walk along the river to the left and the branch that border the Ancre island and pass at the tip of the Grand-Voyeux bird sanctuary

7) Follow the path on the left, and continue through rue de la Marne and rue de la Pierre-Lorraine. At the entrance of Congis, take the street on the left, pass the church, then go right on the rue du Vert-Moulin and walk on the small path on the left to cross the Therouanne and reach the city hall.
