Once the property of Meaux’s bishopric estate, Montceaux-lès-Meaux became a royal hunting ground under Henri IV. In 1691, a royal captaincy of hunting was created in Montceaux.

Discover this gorgeous forest full of oaks and sprinkled with star-shaped crossroads.
In the North of the forest, the hiking crossroad, is one of the most visited sites. There, you will find a picnic area, a botanical trail, and a sport trail. Enjoy the panorama and follow the pathway to the Gèvres area.
