Discovering the First World War at the Great War Museum

The Great War Museum offers self-guided, guided and remote tours of the objects in its superb collection, housed in 3,000m2 of exhibition space. The museum offers visits and workshops tailored to the level of the pupils, from primary to secondary school. Educational materials are also available for teachers.

Discover Brie de Meaux and local produce at the Maison du Brie de Meaux

The Maison du Brie de Meaux is an interpretation centre on the history of the famous Brie de Meaux, the gastronomic flagship of the Meldoise town. Discover the history of the king of cheeses and the secrets of its production through tours and workshops offered throughout the year. The museum welcomes school groups, from nursery to high school, and adapts to the level of each group.

Discover history and heritage at the Bossuet Museum and in the Episcopal City

To take your discovery of the city’s history a step further, the Heritage, Art and History Department offers a wide range of tours of the Bossuet Museum, the Fine Arts Museum and the Episcopal City (Gallo-Roman ramparts, St Etienne’s Cathedral, Bossuet Garden, etc.). It also offers access visits to the market district and, more broadly, to the town’s urban planning, the Marne, its canals, etc.

Examples of tours: “Meaux from Antiquity to the Middle Ages”, “The City of Bishops: 800 years of history”, etc.
